During 2010 the dynamics of the global economy were dominated by uncertainty, due to the marked asymmetries in the performance of economies. Developed countries exhibited a weak growth, partly reflecting the lingering effects of the international economic crisis and the depletion of the battery of fiscal packages. In contrast, emerging economies consolidated the growth rates observed before the crisis.
